While Chris Knox is undoubtedly best known for his songs, his contributions to bands like Tall Dwarfs, and such, he did put together an electro-acoustic album, Inaccuracies & Omissions (2003), under the alias Friend.
It’s still available as a CD and now as digital download.
I remember Knox being really rude and dismissive about electronic music back in the 90s, so it was interesting to understand that he was really opposed to certain ways of using technology, rather than being against the technology or anything. Not a Luddite, although Luddites might have wanted to claim him.
