Sally Ann McIntyre is from Dunedin and lives in Melbourne. On her website she describes Radio Cegeste as an actual radio station as well as a platform for radio art. I would assume from just listening that her recorded releases all involve radio.
There are plenty of links to music from her site and the Bandcamp pages I’ve linked to below, but here’s a particular stand out for me, a track ruminating on the never-recorded call of the New Zealand bird the storm petrel. It’s part of a series called Birds of Feather, where artists were invited to make music that reflects a particular bird’s call for Kate Carr’s Flaming Pines label.
