As of February 2016, David Chechelashvili was writing a doctorate on modular synthesis. Based on his music as Waker, it’s a topic dear to his heart. Expect evolving synth textures, drones and huge amounts of reverb.
There are three Waker albums available via local label Metallurgic, Less Than Nothing (2021), Induction (2020) and Relatively Minor (2017).
