The musician going by the name èvia is keeping pretty anonymous, but definitely doing something right. They just dropped their debut album, Cold (2023), on Chicago label Lillerne Tapes.
Before that, they self-released two short EPs and subscriber only releases via their Bandcamp site, the latest tear hail being available on CD or files. Their sound is crisp, bright and concise, with the three-track tear hail being over in not much more than six minutes.
In May 2021 they did a great mix for Theory Therapy, which includes a lot of my recent faves from overseas.
